The Easiest Sugar Peony Ever
Make pretty sugar peonies using 'The Easiest Peony Ever' cutter set!
Step 1. Roll a ball of flower or modelling paste so that can sit in one of the petals of the smaller cutter. Shape the bud so that it is narrower at the bottom and rounded at the top. Mark the top with the cutter, pressing it in 3 times to form a criss-cross effect.
Step 2. Roll out your paste 1-2mm thick, depending on how delicate you want your peony to look. Using the smaller cutter, firmly press down and cut 2 strips of petals in the darker shade. Once you have cut out the petals, leave the icing to dry for a few minutes before thinning and shaping the petals so that they keep their shape. On a foam pad, thin around the edge of the petals with the end of a small rolling pin, dabbing with more cornflour if needed.
