We pride ourselves on our rapid service and aim to despatch all orders promptly.

Delivery - England, Wales and Scotland

If you live in the UK mainland most orders are received within 5 working days. Even though our normal service is fast we offer a next day service for those customers on a deadline (Excluding some remote areas of Wales and Scotland where the service is two days). This service is Mon-Fri and can be selected at the checkout; however this must be done by 1.30 PM, after this time the order will be despatched the following day. We charge a flat fee of £3 on top of your existing order to cover the extra courier costs (Please phone for Saturday delivery rates).

 

We despatch small orders by Royal Mail 1st class, heavier orders or high value orders are despatched by courier and will require a signature on delivery, therefore it may be a good idea to enter a separate delivery address on the checkout page i.e. work address or neighbour.  Please note once we have despatched your order we cannot change the delivery address.

Northern Ireland, Offshore Islands

Our aim is to deliver your order within 5-7 days. Where orders are a priority we offer a two day service. Please note once we have despatched your order we cannot change the delivery address.

BFPO (British Forces)

Small orders are sent by Royal Mail (Forwarded to the British Forces Post Office). Heavy or high value orders are despatched by Parcelforce BFPO service.

What happens if I'm out when the courier attempted delivery ?

For orders despatched Royal Mail

 

If you order has been despatched by Royal Mail, a "Sorry you were out" card should be left through your letter box like the one to the right. 

 

You can re-arrange a delivery by calling the number on the card or on-line at:

Royal Mail will also deliver to your local post office for a fee of 50p or you may wish to collect your goods in person from the local sorting office. Don't forget to take the card and ID with you!

For orders despatched by Courier

 

If your order has been despatched by courier you can track your goods on-line. We'll send you a despatch email which includes the tracking number. If you are out a calling card will be put through your door for you to arrange re-delivery free of charge. But hurry! If your goods are not called for within 5 days they may be sent back to us and we would have to make an additional charge to send them again. 

Returns

If at any time, or for any reason, you're not completely happy with your purchase(s), please return them to us within 14 days of receiving them and we'll give you a full refund for the original amount paid with our no quibble guarantee. The only thing we ask is that the goods are returned to us in an "as new" re-saleable condition. There are a few items that cannot be returned (Please see the list below).


To return an item, contact one of our friendly Customer Services Advisors, via telephone or our contact page. We'll give you a returns number so we can track your goods and apply your refund promptly when they arrive back with us.

It is advisable to use a recorded delivery service, or at a minimum obtain a proof of posting at the post office in the unlikely event the goods are lost in transit. You may wish to take out additional insurance for high value items.

Items that cannot be returned:

    1. Security tags - Carefully inspect the product before removing the security tag. CakeCraftWorld.co.uk will not accept returned items where the security tags have been removed.
    2. Edible items - With the exception of screw top containers where the seal has not been broken.
    3. Handmade icing flowers - Due to the extremely fragile nature of the product and the special packaging techniques required.
    4. Bespoke made to order items.

Damaged Goods

If any goods are damaged in transit CakeCraftWorld.co.uk will replace them item free of charge. We may ask for proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim against the courier.

Lost Parcels

In the unlikely event you have not received your parcel within 7 working days of despatch date we would first ask you to carry out the following checks: That you have not been carded by Royal Mail to collect from your local sorting office. That it has not been left in or outside your home i.e. a meter cupboard, porch or left with a neighbour. Having carried out the above checks, please contact us by telephone or via our contact form stating your order reference, delivery address and contact details. We shall investigate lost packages with our courier partners and will arrange a replacement or full refund in the event the goods cannot be found. Please note we require a minimum of two working days to investigate lost packages with our couriers.

Delivery Prices for Overseas destinations we currently deliver to 

All orders despatched overseas can be tracked on-line. Small orders below 1.5 Kg are despatched by "Royal Mails International Sign For" service. Due to weight and size restraints, parcels over 1.5Kg we use an approved courier. You may find it beneficial in some cases to place two separate orders where your goods are over 1.5Kg in weight. Check out the delivery prices to work out the cheapest method.

 

Delivery times vary from country to country, however nearly all deliveries are received within 2 weeks if not sooner. Prices quoted include UK VAT where applicable. Countries outside the EC VAT area will not be charged UK VAT, however an import duty or tax pay be payable when the goods are received.
