Sugar Flowers For Cakes
Sugar flowers make beautiful cake decorations for many occasions and we have a fantastic range of handmade sugar flowers in a selection of colours and varieties. Depending on your cake design, choose from individually wired flowers that can be added to a spray, or whole sprays of flowers that include leaves and we also have a great range of piped roses and wafer daisies that can be simply popped straight onto a cupcake!
Whatever your colour scheme, we are sure to have the right shade to suit your cake, from the traditional colours of white, ivory, red and pink to brighter colours such as yellow, blue, purple and orange plus gold, silver and pearlised. If you want to add colour to the flowers yourself, the best way is by using edible dusting powders which can be built up gradually to reach the desired shade and come in a variety of shades including gold and silver. In order to avoid streaks of colour on the flowers, tip a little dust onto kitchen paper and using a medium soft brush, take up some of the dust and brush a few strokes onto the paper so only a small amount of dust is left on the brush, then dust the flower. Alternatively you could use a lustre spray, available in a variety of colours.
