Create a detailed rose impression on your icing with this Vintage RoseDesign Mat. The mat can be used with sugarpaste, modelling paste or marzipan and can add a beautiful finish to cupcakes and cookies or plaques on larger cakes.

1.Roll out some sugarpaste a little larger than the mat. Lightly dust the mat with cornflour and press the mat firmly onto the sugarpaste.

2.Roll over the top of the sugarpaste with a non-stick rolling pin.

3.Turn over and peel the mat away from the sugarpaste.

4.Cut out a circle the same size as the top of your cupcake.

5.Top the cupcake with buttercream and place the rose embossed sugarpaste in position. Finish with a small heart cut out and embossed in the same way.
